The Boca Raton Museum of Art is deeply rooted in the history of its surroundings and exemplifies the cultural impact and “ripple effect” of the arts from small towns across America. Butterfly World is a unique site where visitors can walk amidst thousands of flowers, tropical plants, waterfalls, gardens and classical music with over 80 butterfly species from South and Central America, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and other Asian nations, fluttering about freely. The Tropical Rain Forest Aviary, one of Butterfly World’s finest attractions, is an 8,000 square foot screened enclosure with a height of 30 feet and 240,000 cubic feet of space inside with over 5,000 butterflies in a rain forest environment with flowers, trees, a waterfall, a cave and cool tropical mist.
